Kavod Senior Life, A Caring Senior Living Community For All Faiths, is located in the beautiful Cherry Creek neighborhood in Denver. Our Cherry Creek residences are conveniently located one block from the Cherry Creek Mall. To be eligible for Kavod residences, the Head of Household must be at least 62 years of age or benefit from the features of accessible units designed specifically for mobility-impaired persons.Kavod Senior Living provides a range of support and health services designed to assist residents to age in place and remain independent as long as possible. ,avod Senior Living has two pricing structures, subsidized and non-subsidized (also called market rate).Kavod Senior Living specializes in affordable senior housing. Most of our apartments are subsidized by the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). In this program, rents are calculated based on an applicant’s total adjusted income. Rent includes electrical and water utilities. As of April 1, 2015, the wait list will be reopened. Until that point, Kavod Senior Living is not accepting applications for subsidized Senior Living housing. This temporary wait list freeze was due to a very long wait list. Please see our website for more information.Assisted Living residents live in the comfort of their own intimate apartment, either a one-bedroom or studio apartment homes with the assistance they need. We have a full-time Resident Care Coordinator for Assisted Living residents, who acts to empower residents to live as independently as possible.All residences can enjoy our full activities program with many social events, cultural opportunities and the many other interesting programs. You can also learn how to write your memoirs, join a book club, a knitting class, a gardening club or a fun Wii bowling team. Stay fit with your choice of yoga, tai-chi, strength and balance training, fitness fun each morning or use our state of the art exercise machines. Fill your days and attend poetry exploration class, current events discussion class, or take trips to the theater and concerts. We are conveniently located near the Cherry Creek mall, great restaurants, movies, shops and directly on public bus routes in the area.
