Carmel Oaks is an independent living community, locally owned by a nonprofit corporation, governed by a Board of Directors and designed for seniors 55+ who want to enjoy carefree living. Envision time to develop new interests or pursue familiar ones through a community that promotes physical well being and the active, independent lifestyle you've earned. Our three story building has seventy-nine residences with 19 different floor plans to choose from ranging in size from 600 square feet to 1,650 square feet. Residences have full size kitchens, patios or balconies, one, two or three bedrooms and one or two bathrooms. We feature a dining room, private dining room, fireside room, coffee shop, home theatre, wood shop, fitness center, library, guest room, billiards/game room, beauty/barber shop, and underbuilding parking garage with individual storage areas. Also included are a 24-hour Lifeline emergency response system, secured entry, planned social activities, scheduled transportation, concierge and optional dining. Our financial structure includes a one-time entrance fee that is returned upon transfer to another qualified resident. There is a monthly charge associated with each plan based on square footage. We also have a few residences that are rentals only with no entry fee associated with them. We work very closely with community approved and licensed homecare agencies that can assist with respite care, meal preparation, housekeeping, medication reminders, and personal care (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, etc.). We also have a preferred provider that offers discounted fees to Carmel Oaks residents.
